April 5, 2009 - Acacia made a BIG PROGRESS!

After not having her life updated for so long, Acacia is now level 29, ranking 1st in her friends list with 66K+ Paw Points (not counting temporarily added) with a beautifully decorated six-room house! She has produced the elusive golden poo twice NOT counting the first one traded which she donated to her friend and is now going for the even more elusive rainbow poo! As for the 10 jukes traded she has spent them very, very well and her rooms are now all decked out! My plant collection is now almost complete, and still looking out for toys - teddy, pink jello, piggy, jellyfish baby! Will post screenshots very soon!

March 8, 2009 - Whoa, my wishlist!

NEW UPDATE #1: There is now new levels and new rooms added in Pet Society! Your pet can now reach level 47 with a nine-room house!

NEWS UPDATE #2: Pet Society is now available on MySpace with exclusive Launch Items including Chic Bonsai, Pink Jello, Witch Hat, Starry Night Lamp, Mayor Picture, Mirror and other rares in the Luxury store!

Thanks to 12 jukes traded for Golden poo by Parepailin from the Playfish forums, I now have up to half of my wishlist fulfilled! Here's what new items from the LUXURY store I have now: Princess bed, stainless steel stove & ventilation, colourful clock, wonder pants, floral hat, cool blue lava lamp!

Also many thanks to Squishy also from the Playfish forums for generously donating me a lot of items! She has given me: Love heart lava lamp, fireplace, old school candlestick, koala doll, Valentine's teddy, dragon doll, teapot (wanting to sell!), elegant rose pot (or whatever it's called), 2 antique shelves, 2 white recliners, fancy end table, carnival decoration and black cup! THANK YOU SO MUCH! I strongly recommend this kind, helpful safe trader.

February 6, 2009 - Acacia's rooms

Today's post is devoted to rooms, rooms, rooms! Some people in the Playfish forum says that the main point of Pet Society is to decorate rooms. Now I actually kinda agree with that. So less talk, more pics - let's get onto Acacia's front room, the Zen-themed Japanese garden decked out with flora!

(Note: the reason why she is dirty is because pets sometimes produce poo when they are down on hygiene, and may occasionally produce an extremely rare Golden Poo. Many PS players are on the lookout for that valuable item - in fact they could give you up to 15-30 Jukeboxes/Lip Loungers (worth $20,000 buy, $6,666 sell) to trade for just one! That means she could get as much coins as she wishes - to deck out every single one of her other rooms!  Wouldn't that just be great?)

Lol, sitting in the summer couch this one. I was lucky to catch her blinking as I was taking this screenshot - it's soooooooo hilarious isn't it?

This one is where Acacia shows off all her trophies. I found that she loves trophies a lot and becomes very happy when she gets close to them. She'd jump up and down laughing and stroke them lovingly. So cute :)

Acacia's trophy room is also her bedroom. What a sweet dream must she be having ^.^

This is the easiest room I ever made, all with the cheapest decor that look old and shabby on their own, but has quite a twist of uniqueness when put together.

See, cheap stuff can be quite cheerful  A cardboard stool is probably the most creative thing I've ever thought of.

Acacia's princess pink bathroom. It has a pink Princess Sink in it as well. One day I'd love to get a pink Princess Bath and the Charming Hearts wallpaper.

This is inspired by another pet's idea (who I happened to come across in the Cafe) - using food as decoration is another cheap and cheerful option! Just be careful not to let your pet eat them :P Placed on the Nine-Square Shelving are the 9 always in-store fruits in the food shop.

Coffee table decked with coffee - the perfect combo! I'm also thinking of buying a kitchen desk and put the 4 bottles of drinks available in the food shop on there. This would officially be Acacia's kitchen/dining room.

LOL, I just bombarded this blog with tons of screenshots! Maybe I should take a rest and start to... gtgtdn (gotta go to dinner now!), cya 2moz! (that's what's so good about chat speak... it's fast and easy! But if I use them in my English essay the teacher would probably pwn me like mad... not gd...)

February 5, 2009 - Acacia's new outfit!

Whew! It's been such a long time since I last updated this! So much had happened while I was in China and couldn't access Webs properly to edit my site (dang the Chinese Government what's wrong with Webs? What kind of regulation policy is this??!!) Well... you can't believe how much my Acacia has progressed during the holidays... here's a screenshot of her brand new appearance:

As you can see, much prettier and girlier than before - but not as girly as her female friends who wear expensive dresses and pearl necklaces and stuff... I'm trying to make Acacia no high-maintenance girl. She would be a cute, fun, lovable girl-next-door who is always nice and polite to visitors, friendly and kind to her peers, always happy and cheerful, a bright student, sweet and loyal to her boyfriend (if she ever gets one), being helpful and supportive to others - a welcomed member of Pet Society Town. She'd have a variety of interests and hobbies - art, music, sports, hanging out with friends... would all be on her top list. My Acacia is made of sunshine, and owns the colour of the summer sky!  (Age would be about 14 I think)

Now that I've finished with Acacia's profile, let's talk about the other pets (pictures coming soon):

Pepi - a young professional who is the CEO of a renowned computer technology company in Pet Society Town. He is intelligent and diligent with very high Paw Points. His wealth is currently quite down at the moment due to the financial crisis at the moment, which is why others rarely see a smile on his face. He does not have a lot of friends as he spends most of his time at work which restricts his time to socialise, but all his friends are true and blue, including Acacia, who is deeply attracted to him (SUCKED IN SM HAHA now your pet has to marry mine! ). (Age: 21)

Minny - Pepi's younger sister (sorry I don't quite know how pandas can be related to cats, but the Chinese word for panda is literally cat-bear), who is a princess dreaming of a princess house with princess rooms where she'll store more princess clothes and wait for a princess' prince's arrival (sounds confusing?) She did inherit the smart factor from her brother, the one who brought her up until now. She currently cooperates with her companion, Katie, on their own new fashion line. (Age: 16)

Katie - Coordinator of the new fashion line starting in town. This beautiful girly pet is one of those high-maintenance ones I talked about earlier. She spends most of her time indoors in front of the mirror and most of her time outdoors shopping (would that be called outdoors still?). She is a very famous figure in PST due to her occupation, but because of her daily routine, which interferes with her work, Minny is now rising above her and would probably be ready to take over her place any time now. (Age: 20)

Marble - A total rocker chick who absolutely amazes people with her ever-changing styles, her talent in interior design, and her incredible amount of coins coming from the media and her fans that does not vary with the economy condition in the rest of the world. She would most definitely be the wealthiest pet in town - not to mention the most Paw Points, the most and best room decorations, the grooviest outfits, the bestest of best in everything... (Age: 22)

lucas - A persistent, determined pet who vows to rise over Marble one day and become the Pet Society World's best tenor singer ever. He does have quite a big batch of talent there - it just hasn't been recognised. Now he's practicing basically every single day but oh... he better know how to APPLY for careers, jobs and a spot for him in the choir soon! Otherwise, nobody except his neighbours would ever hear his bold and beautiful voice... (Age: 16)

JOEY JOE JOE - A kind of a 'cool dude' who, according to himself, is more than 200% cooler and more 'rockish' than Marble (my gosh Marble does have a lot of challengers) - just not on the same level. Marble's having concerts every now and then, and he prefers chillin' at home dressed like a character from Men in Black. He could be quite hostile at times, but others are always quite generous towards him - they know that his self-esteem cannot afford being hurt. (Age: 18)

choco - A poor student who withdrawed from school a while ago because of her family's severe financial crisis. All she has went through shaped her into maturity much earlier than she should - now she's a strong, courageous, self-disciplined person who is not afraid of anything - qualities that made Acacia want to be her friend. Whenever Acacia needs a confidence boost, the first person she thinks of is choco. (Age: 14)

fluffy - Sweeter than sugar, this little girl new to the society loves spending her time wandering in the meadows picking flowers and playing with butterflies, dragonflies and bees. She likes all things cute, colourful, soft and yummy, like teddies, rainbows, pillows and candy. She finds Acacia and choco, who takes responsibility of bringing her up, great playmates and mentors because they are always nice and helpful. (Age: 4)

moosei - fluffy's older brother, who was once rated as the cutest pet in town. In fact, he still is. He is a lovable little boy-next-door, nice and polite, playful but not mischievious. He loves to laugh and make other pets happy, in which he calls 'spreading love, hope, joy and peace' (aww). He recognises Pepi and Minny as his parents and Acacia and her friends as his older brothers and sisters. (Age: 9)

Inferno: The 'bad guy' who used to be a homeless teenage druggie wandering crazily and mindlessly down messy city streets filled with strays like himself, and was rescued by Acacia, who put him into a mental care institute. He still haven't recovered his health and wealth completely, but had learnt to smile and be happy at last and appreciate friendship. He is now a good friend of Acacia, who visits the hospital to see him daily. (Age: 17)

December 24, 2008 - Getting into the spirit of Christmas

UPDATE #4 for yesterday: Acacia reached the level of 'Media Darling' and was awarded a Super Skipping Rope!

Acacia is still progressing on quite well, now almost 500 points over the 5th position in Paw Points! Also, it's not long until she's going to get the bamboo. For now, all her friends in Pet Society are busily preparing for Christmas, with Pepi on the hunt for a Christmas chair and Marble decking the halls with Christmas everything! Here's a pic:

December 23, 2008 - Good on you, Acacia!

You've made a great improvement girl! All the way from a Popular Pet to a Society Stalwart! That's getting through almost 4 levels in a day! Oh yeah and update, she just received 500 coins in the daily lottery!

UPDATE: Acacia just became a Famous Pet! She's only about 300 Paw Points away from Minny!

UPDATE #2: Acacia has just bought the Spring Flower Floor from the D.I.Y. Shop! Now, we'll just need an elegant bamboo and another pot of flowers to complete the natural, green theme of Acacia's main room!

December 22, 2008 - Seeing even more improvement

This morning my little brother who is obsessed with manipulating Acacia leveled her up again! She has been through the stage of being an Influential Pet to a Rising Star. 5 levels until she can measure up to her counterpart Minny the cat! W00T!

Still Acacia is a bit down on coins. But guess what? I've found quite an easy way to win bread for her. Her companion Inferno is the unlucky cat who unfortunately has an owner who never bothers to look after him. Every time she visits him, he appears with three completely empty bars and flies buzzing around him. Poor thing... and now Acacia's job is to stroke him to make him happy, clean him with soap and occasionally give him something to eat. When she does that a lot Inferno gives her coins! It's only temporary though. 5 minutes later Acacia'd visit him again, and again his stats would be empty. Which means coins again! My pet's such a helpful little girl...

December 21, 2008 - Acacia has reached a new level in Pet Society!

Acacia is now officially a Popular Pet and awarded 100 coins!

Today was a big day. I bought the Sweet Orange Tree for Acacia. That costed me, uh... 500 coins! What a ripoff! But at least it's beautiful. Below is the picture of Acacia and her tree:

Acacia's been visiting her friends lately as well. Here she is with her best friend, Pepi the bear. Happy together, huh?

You see, I've been a fan of the Tamagotchi virtual pet for quite a while (over a year), but to an online virtual pet game like Pet Society, I'm nothing more than a fresh face. Yet my gorgeous little bunny Acacia is already a High Achiever! Should I be proud of her, or she be proud of me? We'll both be proud of each other then! (ph34r)

For now on, I'm planning for my pet (no, daughter!) Acacia's welcoming room into a green-themed paradise, with lots of plant decorations, spring flower floor and a natural-themed wall paper. I'm sure it would suit her just perfect. That would mean something tall - a sweet orange tree would do just fine, or better yet a bamboo! Acacia, bit short on coins there! Another trophy and more races would be perfect, or do you want to sell something?

Acacia's also needing to work on her trophies. Getting the Basic Jumping Rope award's no big deal, but the ball and frisbee games are so hard! I mean, there's literally no way to click on the ball before it hits the floor using a dodgy touch mouse like mine... but you know, Acacia, I'll do anything for your Paw Points

Acacia, you're made of pure love, aren't you?
