Since I'm a #1 fan of the Tamagotchi virtual pet, the first story I'll present to you would be the Tamagotchi Adventures series Vol. 1 - Saving Tama-Planet.doc

Twenty-three quintillion and twenty-three light-years from the Earth lies the Gotchi Galaxy, where only Tamagotchis can travel to and from at a speed twenty-three quintillion and twenty-three times faster than the speed of light. On the most powerful place in the galaxy, Tama-Planet, lived Mametchi, Memetchi, Kuchipatchi, Mimitchi, Androtchi and Hanatchi, six little Tamas each with unique characteristics. They, along with all other Tamas on the planet, lived a happy life under the rule of the Tamagotchi King - until Tama-Planet was invaded by the evil Devilgotchis! The King told the six Tamas to find the six hidden powerful gems in order to defeat the Devilgotchis. So, with courage, hope, hard work, intelligence, compassion and optimism, the young Tamas set off on the journey to collect the magical gems and save their home planet... Be sure to watch out for the surprise! The preview doesn't tell you everything, you know...
Don't know what genre it is, I think it's children's fantasy. It's a bit too long and complicated for younger children though, plus it's got a twist of romance. So I'll just put it as Tamagotchi fan fiction.

But the cold, chilling through the skin, the flesh,
Deep into the bones of dense forests
Of towering trees made of cement.
The cold front, inhumane and unceasing,
Pierces through the atmosphere into the mountains of Yuebei
Through the hills, down along the highway
Crosses the city boundary into the urban mist.
Wind wails among the woods
Roaring through leaves of evergreen tropicalness
Making its way through traffic jams
Ignoring signs saying 'don't cross on red'.
Occasionally, raindrops do fall
Sometimes feeling one pound into my palm
But they have amazing manners for sure
For they always line up, about one or two everyday.
The letters on the top-left corner
Of the flashing television, reading 'SZTV'
With newsflashes broadcasting yellow warnings
Like CCTV which does the same all across the country.
Despite the season, flowers do blossom
Kumquat shrubs fruit in golden glory
Standing against the temperatures of doom
Their courage stand for their beauty and strength.
Ripple the calm surface
Of the peaceful lake
Of my heart.

I, by coincidence, was too
