2008/09 China/Singapore Trip
So yeah, I promised that I'll be uploading pics of them quite soon. So here they are now - at last! You're welcome to comment on them in the guestbook
The Song of Singapore - City Centre

See that green waterfall of ivy behind us? Now that's inside Changi Airport, and already there's quite a significant amount of greenery. I was totally amazed by how much Singaporeans value the environment.

BE AMAZED. BE VERY AMAZED. Everywhere is like a botanic garden in Singapore. Singapore truly deserves its name of being a 'garden city'. (In above picture: my little brother Jason)

The renowned big wheel of S'pore - yeah the one that caught on fire on the 22nd Dec of last year. My love goes out to all those who were stuck on there for 6 hours in fear.
The docklands - Singapore in construction
The Song of Singapore - Sensations of Sentosa
The majestic Merlion at Sentosa - emblem and national treasure of Singapore. Yes, we took this photo of him, we didn't invite no professional photographers, OK?
Side view of the Merlion
Sea turtles at the Underwater World/Sentosa Aquarium

Scuba diver feeding fish inside the indoor aquarium

The unluckiest giant octopus I have ever seen... such a large size put in such a small cage is like, animal cruelty... =(

Giant spider crabs lol

My dad looking at a giant manta ray

My mum and the model shark

A shark... real this time!

... And its tail...

Dorys, Gills and Tads (from Finding Nemo)

Jellyfish!

Well here's a photo I took... whatcha think about my photography skills?

First wax museum photo!

First batch of Chinese workers who immigrated to Singapore in history lived in this kind of conditions...

Traditional Chinese wedding - look at those clothes!

Aerial view of Sentosa Island through the cable car

Aerial view of Singapore industrial area & highway

Lush tropical rainforest pics :)

Dad, Jason & me with the Singapore Mainland Merlion in the background.
Chillin' in China - Oriental Chinese Town East

Walking through the bamboo forest from the bottom of the valley

Ancient villages

Wind generators

Apartments where OCT East workers live (one of the main reasons why I might wanna work there when I grow up
)

Yeah, that's just me on the mini-train...

Looking out at the lush rainforest (SUBtropical NOT tropical!)

German-style town Interlaken - exterior view

And an insight on what's inside :) (In above photo: myself, mum and Jason)

Overlooking the Tea Stream Valley, OCT's third valley. The other 2 are Knight Valley and Wind Valley.

Jason, it's teatime!

Flower power :)

Flowergirl and flowerboy! =DDD

Giant globe inside the Natural Science Gallery

The giant pumpkin - result of a groundbreaking scientific experiment. The seeds of these pumpkins had been taken into the space (as in out of this world) to grow. The different environment caused their genes to mutate, changing their sizes and shapes.

More space mutated veggies now brought back to their good old home sweet home on Earth :P

Butterfly artwork made using... REAL BUTTERFLIES! That means the sacrifice of so many beautiful lives... Oh well, butterflies live quite a short life anyway...
This page is getting kinda long... for photos of my Canton countryside driving tour, Window of the World, Hong Kong and Happy Valley, it would be the next page! Click here to proceed to My Albums - Page 2!
